Our clients and their customer base is key!

Option 1

​

As one alternative, we have set up a separate web site for our clients customer base.  This is where our clients send their customers to have access for 24/7 tracking and access to related GPS material and the login for the GPS systems our clients sell. 

 

The management GPS site our clients customers use will avoid sensitive issues you may not want to share found on this site. We fully understand the confidentiality needed as client information is proprietary.  As such, our client customers site will have detail information about the product our clients sell as well as video's that will train them on getting started and other customer support material.  Our client customers will be able to login from that site or our clients site.

 

EXAMPLE PRICING MODEL:  This is a very easy and profitable way to start a relationship with our company. Minimum orders are 15 units and pricing is reduced for orders of 50 or more.
 

Example only - - Types of GPS systems vary in price.  Using a popular 408 (4 G) unit with a rechargeable battery operated model (15 unit minimum order), our clients buy the GPS systems at a $65 cost plus $2.50 per month for data when purchased with the GPS unit -(Minimum 12 Months).  That entitles our clients customers the ability to locate or track their vehicle anytime they wish and set geofences including a free tracking software they can use on their computer and / or cell phone for either Android or IOS. The software also provides the ability to set geofences and other services such as speed alerts, motion detection and more as described in the product section of this site. This rechargeable unit requires no start up expense for our client other than inventory and data.  The data is paid for by our client upon the purchase, however activation of the data doesn't start until the unit is sold or installed and activated when the user signs in.  For example, if the client purchased the GPS system and data on the 1st of the month and sold the vehicle on the 15th of the month, the billing on the units and data would be due at purchase, but the data would not activate until the 15th.  In this example, the dealer cost for a 12 month program for their customer with the GPS hardware would be $89.  A 36 month data plan with 24/7 tracking features with data would be $137.  It would not be uncommon for a 3 year plan to sell retail for $600 to $800.  This technology includes using the GPS for stolen vehicle recovery if needed.  

 

It should be noted that the majority of car dealerships today only sell GPS units for the purpose of stolen vehicle recovery.  As such, the benefit to the consumer only evolves around the vehicle being stolen and in may cases the consumer is still paying for SVR what they would be paying for this model which includes so much more.

Option 2

​

This is the model we want our clients to consider.  It requires the purchase of a life time white label software of which there is about a $7,000 one time fee for the software.  If you have 10 dealerships in a dealer group that wish to participate, the fee would be broken down among the dealers in the group; in this example about $700 each one time. The software is high quality and its company is composed of numerous developers and engineers so it is not a here today gone tomorrow company as so many GPS companies are. Our clients work directly with the software company and there is no commission or fee that Orbit Connected receives under this structure.  The software is very versatile and can be structured for different departmental needs within the dealership all the way up to a sophisticated fleet department need. The name for the software and the domain login will be what ever you choose it to be for your customer base.

The price for GPS units you now purchase will be reduced as we will set you up to operate and purchase directly from the hardware factory.  We will also do the same for your SIMs and data.  You will now be in control of your business with more benefits to be discussed.

Then how does Orbit Connected get paid?

​

Getting a dealership or group of dealers set up under this model takes about 6 months to efficiently implement, while assisting in the operations, training staff and preparing training videos while turning over the entire operation and phasing  Orbit Connected out of the operation.

 

DEALERSHIP MODEL PRICING FOR OPTION 2: 

 

Regarding hardware: 

 

6 month agreement:  Orbit Connected will receive a one time $15 fee for each unit sold and or activated for a period of 6 months.  This fee is based on a 15 unit purchase minimum per month per dealership and can not be pooled.  In other words if there are 5 dealerships in a participating group and one dealership sells 30 units and another 11 units. the dealership that only sold 11 units would be responsible for the 15 unit minimum.

Optional agreement following 6 months:  (Can be cancelled at any time by either party).  In the event "Client" wishes to have Orbit Connected assist in the management and operation for an additional period of time, the Orbit Connected fee will be reduced to a per unit fee per unit sold and or activated based on an agreed need for service..

Regarding software:  "Orbit Connected" will receive $.38 cents per month for the length of time each hardware unit is activated.   Most dealerships should be charging between $10 to $20 per month for tracking software with geofence capability and other features.  On financed contracts, Orbit Connected is paid on the contract months financed for the customer.  For example, if the clients customer was financed a 12 month program by a 3rd party such as a credit union or bank, than Orbit Connected would receive (12 X .38) or $4.56.  If after 12 months the clients customer renews directly with the dealership on a monthly basis, Orbit Connected would receive $.38 cents per month for as long as the unit was activated.
