Orbit Connected has focused its market interest in consumer usage and small fleet operations which is the majority of the auto dealership market as well as the financial institutions that support that market. Orbit Connected is a Theory of Constraints consulting and GPS wholesale company that has evolved from 25 years experience in the automobile service industry.

It's founder and managing partner is Bob Hessman.  25 years ago Bob founded a loan servicing company and over a 6 year period serviced more than $200 million in auto loans for BHPH car dealerships serving the sub-prime consumer.  The significance of that is as part of the service, Bob's company managed numerous types of GPS and code based starter interrupt systems on multiple platforms.  At the time this technology was mostly used for the electronic repossession of vehicles. During that time, Bob also structured, staffed and set up numerous related finance companies (RFC's) for the automotive industry in order to meet some stringent requirement set forth by the IRS. The purpose was to show car dealerships a methodology for decreasing taxes associated with their vehicle sales. For more information on RFC's see video.

 

The next step in Bob's journey was to sell the loan servicing company and with several partners acquire numerous GPS related patents that are now licensed by some of the largest GPS companies in the industry.  Bob than co-founded a GPS company and for the last 12 years has serviced and sold product to independent dealerships, new car dealerships and numerous credit unions through out the U.S.  
 

Bob is now on his next mission providing dealerships and financial institutions with affordable technology and service that will give them more control.
